Hotel Puri, a very unquie Boutique Hotel In Melaka. It was the ancestral home of the descendants Tan Kim Seng (1805- 1864) a well know Philanthropist. He was a third generation of Strait Chinese. born in Malacca. His Grandfather migrated to Malacca in the 18th Century from ENg Choon district of Fujian Province. He become a successful businessman in Malacca. Singapore then found in 1819, Tan Kim Seng then moved to Singpapore Growing even richer and contribute back his wealth to the society.
Just imagine that in those days people who use to own such house must be dam rich. This hse is now converted to a Boutique hotel with 50 Guest room.. Very CLEAN!!!!! very cosy.... Is unlike other hotel. Location is good. It is just 1 street away from Jonker walk....
