IT is TIME to Review our HDB Resale Levy...

It is time for HDB to revise our resale Levy now.

HDB levy should be calculated base on percentage of sales proceed and NOT  base on  Flat Type.

HDB Levy had been implemented by gov so that they can control public from speculating.
But at present market with most price heading south, some fully developed town like
sengkang, Jurong or woodlands etc cannot get a good price on their resale flat.
This had indirectly force some  owner who had apply a direct flat from HDB to top up cash on the resale levy after the sale of their present flat.

This is indeed so much great difference from last time where most of the owner had really enjoy the big cherry after selling their HDB Flat.

I sincerely hope that HDB can review this ruling.
1) Resale Levy should be calculate base on the percentage of the sales proceed and NOT  base on the Flat type. This is because every flat
owner sales proceed will varies on different location.

2) Allow Flat Owner to pay Resale levy by CPF fund rather than in Cash.  As grant is subsidary or given to HDB owner by CPF upon purchasing,
so repayment of resale levy should be in CPF rather than cash.

I sincerely hope reader or HDB in-charge can look into this matter so that my writing on for this will not go into waste.
